Barca offers for Fabregas and Frank Ribery rejected

El Deportivo Mundo reports that Barcelona offered reasonable sum of money to Arsenal and Bayern Munich for the signature of currently top transfer targets in Europe, Frank Ribery and Cesc Fabregas.

According to the reports in Spain, Barca offered nearly 35 million euros for Fabregas, but The Gunners decided to turn down the offer and keep the tenacious Spaniard at The Emirates Stadium. Cesc Fabregas has been a long-term target for Barca boss Pep Guardiola, and it looks like the transfer saga will continue this summer.

El Deportivo Mundo also suggests that Joan Laporta met with Bayern Munich chief Franz Beckenbauer to discuss a possible move for Frank Ribery, who is currently valued at 60 million euros. "Der Kaiser" made it clear to Laporta that Ribery is not for sale for any sum of money.
