Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra discussed Wayne Rooney's wonderful season, and how he matured into probably best striker in the world. Evra described Rooney as a "selfish" player, but the one who gets the job done:
"Wayne understands what the team needs and we're seeing what a great player he is. Wayne is a world class player and is getting his just deserts because now he is more mature, he concentrates more on staying around the box. He is very selfish tho, but it helps our team because in some situations only he can get the job done."
Wayne Rooney scored 23 goals so far, and it looks like the England international will be a key for success in a defining moments for The Red Devils. United are currently going toe-to-toe with the English Premier League leaders Chelsea, with Arsenal behind in the race.
