Sir Alex Ferguson preparing to sign a centre-back

According to reports in British press, Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson  is looking to sign another defender this summer. United veteran defender Nemanja Vidic will probably join Real Madrid for 20 million pounds, a good sum of money Fergie would love to use for reinforcements.

The Daily Mail suggests that United will be interested in signing Benfica's highly rated David Luiz, Simon Kjaer from Palermo and Porto's veteran Bruno Alves.
